If Horatio Alger was alive and writing today, doubtless one of his stories would have spotlighted Larry Miller of Salt Lake City, Utah. From a modest beginning as a parts man at a Ford dealership in the 1960s, Miller worked hard and bought his way into a dealership. He was able to purchase first that one dealership and then another, and another. Today he is one of the most successful businessmen in Utah. He owns more than forty dealerships along with numerous other commercial businesses and properties. His love of Cobras has never diminished from the first time he saw one and his success in business has allowed him to amass a collection of almost two dozen of them-most are competition models with exceptional racing history. He also has a handful of GT40s-all with rich race history-and a few Shelbys. But the number and history of the cars he owns is not what sets him apart from the small number of other collectors in his category.
